Final refuge
Let me seek refuge in your arms. End my suffering, take away my grief.
You are the end.
Many fear you, but I respect.
Take from me my sins and my begrudges.
Wash away my impurity and all my insecurities.
Who I cannot love in spite of affection, let me forget.
Who I cannot hate, because of affection, let me forget.
Alone, we come into this world, and alone, we leave.
When we depart, who is there to grieve?
Nothing matters when all is said and done.
Suffering ends, for merriment lasted not long
Left humble and weak,
the comfort of your arms I seek.

Let me guess.. this is about Death?
It's about finding solace.
Finding Solace
Finding solace somewhere
Seeking Comfort
Seeking Comfort Somewhere

I agree with Medha. It sounds quite a bit like death, especially the line, 'Many fear you, but I respect.'Why would anyone fear solace?
Solace... has to be found in oneself, rather than searching for it in someone else or something.
No no, I never denied Medha's assumption.
What the person strives to find is solace, wherever he may find it.
It isn't always easy to find peace within oneself. Simple to say but when found in a state of inner turmoil, I'd love to hear it from you then.
I totally agree with you. But I don't believe that one can find solace in someone else. Hence, the above comment.
True, finding solace in another being may be hard, but another being may help you find it within yourself.
And if not, then....
Dear Dhruv! This is so like you!! You'll never stop till I agree with you!!
Solace found in someone else, by someone else's help (boils down to pretty much the same thing, if you think a little) is quite temporary. What if the above mentioned someone else fails to be around after some time? And oh, it does make you dependent for solace. That's not good, isn't it?
(Something tells me I'm going to give up arguing on this very soon.)
And something tells me I should have been a lawyer!
I'd hate to be on the other side if you were one. Though I'd probably take it as a challenge and win the case!
We must be the two most vella people on this earth. I mean, the sessionals are just a few hours away.
Besides, law requires proof as a basis for argument which, more often than not, you don't have!!
I swear that someday I'll make you say, 'I agree with you, you're right'!!!
hmm...
*thinking*
*still thinking*
No, nope, nossir i have not heard Dhruv say that in the 8 yrs i've known him!!
Yes, hearing Dhruv admitting that he was wrong is equivalent to witnessing Haley's Comet... you're damned lucky if it takes place during your lifetime!
@Medha,
I think that for once he has met his match. I can argue for hours too. (Though he does frustrate me sometimes.) Let us see.......
Oh quit it already!
When I'm wrong, I admit it.... occasionally. But never without a ferocious fight!
And scarcely over matters as trivial as this..
What was the matter at hand, again?
